# Introduction

This guide explains the objectives of the OffSec Certified Professional (OSCP) certification exam.

The OSCP certification exam simulates a live network in a private VPN, which contains a number of vulnerable machines.

**You have 23 hours and 45 minutes to complete the exam.**

Once the exam is finished, you will have another 24 hours to upload your documentation. Details on how to submit your files are provided below.
